Information on the Protection of Personal Data pursuant to Art. 12 GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation (EU/2016/679)

Pursuant to the new EU Regulation/2016/679, in accordance with the principle of accountability, any processing of personal data must be lawful, correct and transparent. These principles imply that the data subject is informed of its existence, its purposes and the rights it can exercise.

Nokike by Herika Signorino (hereinafter "Nokike") with registered office in Via de' Serragli 90 - Florence, and operational headquarters in Via de' Serragli 122R - Florence, in its capacity as Data Controller, and creator and promoter of the activities available on the website www.nokike.com (hereinafter the "Site"), reserves the right to use personal data, voluntarily provided by Users, pursuant to and for the purposes of EU Regulation/2016/679, with the hereby informs the interested party that the personal data assumed concerning him, acquired by the Data Controller or which will be requested later and/or communicated by third parties, are necessary and will be used for the purposes indicated below. The personal data processed will generally be personal data or company names or email addresses or telephone numbers.

The processing of personal data is limited to the purposes for which they were collected.

The treatment is carried out on the basis of the conditions of lawfulness established pursuant to Article 6 of the GDPR: the personal data communicated by the Users are processed to satisfy the requests of the Users themselves (registration, subscription, and purchase of products).

Navigation within the Site is free and does not require any registration, with the exception of some areas where the User can freely and expressly provide a series of data concerning him to access specifically identified services. Code regarding the protection of personal data, with indication (by way of example) of the purposes and methods of use of the data by Nokike, as well as the right to request the deletion of data or updating of the same at any time.

What kind of information we collect

We receive, collect and store all information that is entered on the Site or provided in any other way. We also collect the Internet Protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; access; email address; password; computer and connection information and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to navigate away from the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations and personal profile.

Why we collect this type of personal information

We collect such personal and non-personal information for the following purposes:

Nokike will use the personal data collected online only for the purposes indicated during registration. The data you provide or in any case referable to you may be communicated:
· to external subjects who carry out specific tasks on our behalf (goods delivery, bookkeeping, tax compliance, management of information systems); 
· to banks, for the management of receipts and payments deriving from the execution of contracts.

Nokike does not carry out any promotional and/or advertising communication activity without the prior express consent of the User.

Processing methods and obligation of confidentiality

Nokike.com is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services. Your data may be stored in Wix.com's data storage, databases and general applications. Your data is stored by them on secure servers, protected by firewalls.

Data processing is carried out using IT tools and/or paper supports, by subjects committed to confidentiality, with logics related to the purposes and in any case in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of the data. The data collected will not be disclosed or disclosed to third parties in accordance with the law.

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set forth by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its suppliers.

How we communicate with visitors

We may contact you to notify you about your account, to troubleshoot related issues, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to survey  user opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about Nokike, or as otherwise necessary we may contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws and any agreements we may have with you. To do this, we may contact you by email, telephone, sms and ordinary mail.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you that it has been updated, so you know what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we use and/or disclose it.

Nokike guarantees users that the processing of personal data will be reserved for uses strictly connected and correlated to the provision of its services, the facilitation of site management and order fulfilment.

Rights of the interested party
Nokike informs that pursuant to current legislation, the interested party may assert his or her rights towards the Data Controller, as expressed in Regulation 679/2016, namely:

- Right of access;
- Right of rectification;
- Right to cancellation;
- Right to limit processing;
- Right to data portability;
- Right to object to processing;

- Right to withdraw consent;
- Right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority.

Data retention times

The personal data of the interested parties will be kept for the time necessary to carry out the existing relationships between the parties and for the fulfillment of the related obligations, without prejudice to their conservation in accordance with the law in force, which expires will be cancelled.

How we collect information

When the User completes a transaction, sends a request through our contact request form or requests to subscribe to the newsletter on Nokike.com, as part of the process, we collect the personal information that is provided to us, name, physical address and address e-mail.

Personal information will only be used for the specific reasons set out above.

In the event of payment by credit card, the essential information for carrying out the transaction (credit/debit card number, expiry date, security code) will be sent to the entity responsible for processing (in this case Banca Intesa Sanpaolo and PayPal), or possibly to companies responsible for fraud control, via encrypted protocol, without third parties having access to it in any way. However, this information will never be viewed or stored by Nokike.

No registration is required to access Nokike.com. However, there are sections within the Site that require registration or the use of a username and password (e.g. to complete the online purchase process), or services for which it is necessary to provide personal data ( for example, your data may be requested to access the Newsletter services, to contact us). 

Where necessary, Nokike will acquire the user's specific consent to the relative use of the data. By way of example, personal data may be requested such as name and surname, telephone number, email and other information that the user agrees to provide in order to use the services of the Site by filling in a specific registration form.

Nokike adopts appropriate security measures in order to minimize the risk of destruction or loss of data, unauthorized access or processing that is not permitted or does not comply with the collection purposes indicated in our Privacy Policy.
However, Nokike cannot guarantee its users that the measures adopted for the security of the site and the transmission of data and information on the site are capable of limiting or excluding any risk of unauthorized access or loss of data by user relevance. For this reason, we suggest that users of the site make sure that their computer is equipped with suitable software for the protection of data transmission over the network (for example, updated antivirus) and that their Internet provider has adopted suitable measures for transmission security. of data on the network.

Processing of personal data connected to profiling also through cookies

The Site uses "Cookies": these are text files that are sent from a web server (which is the computer on which the visited website is running) to the user's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and stored on the hard disk of the user's PC when he visits the Site. The cookie allows the Site to identify the user's PC, through the information stored therein, each time the User reconnects to Nokike.com through that PC. 

Through the use of cookies it is possible for us to facilitate user navigation within the Site. 

Cookies do not collect information directly identifying the user. In fact, Nokike cannot use cookies to trace any directly identifying personal information (e.g. name, surname) unless provided directly by the User. Furthermore, another website cannot use a cookie issued by Nokike.com to access other information contained on the user's computer. Once saved on the computer, the cookie can only be read by the website that created it.

What types of cookies are used

Temporary cookies 

They are the CDs. "session cookies" and are released by the Site on the user's computer while browsing, but are stored only for the duration of the browsing session itself. This means that when the user closes his browser, the cookies are automatically deleted and disappear, without remaining memorized on the computer. They are made up of random numbers generated by the server and are used to allow safe and efficient exploration of the Site.

Through the use of these cookies it is possible for us to facilitate the user's navigation within the Site, for example by remembering the data provided by the user when filling in forms on the Site (so-called user input cookies), to recognize the user after who has logged in to the Site (so-called authentication cookies), to customize the site interface based on the preferences indicated by the user, etc.

These cookies do not require the acquisition of a prior and express consent from the user as they are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user of the Site (pursuant to article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).

Permanent cookies

These are the cookies released by Nokike.com on the user's computer while browsing, but are stored even longer for the duration of the browsing session itself, until they expire or until they are canceled by the user.

The use of these cookies requires the express and informed consent of the user (pursuant to article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). The user, by accessing the Nokike.com Home Page by displaying the information banner relating to cookies present there and by reading the information provided, therefore provides his/her specific consent to the use of cookies. It is also considered a valid consent by the user to have configured their internet browser (e.g. Explorer, Firefox, Chrome) in order to accept the use of cookies (pursuant to article 122, paragraph 2, of the Code ).

Furthermore, if the user registers on the Site and gives his specific consent to monitor his navigation, the data relating to navigation within the Site may be associated with his personal data.

We provide the following information regarding the cookies used by Nokike.com:

1) The domain name from which the Site server transmits cookies is: www.nokike.com

2) Purpose of the collection: cookies are used to allow easier and faster navigation within the Site, improve the browsing experience by suggesting the best products and promotions based on the navigation carried out.

3) Data collected: the following information is stored: the addresses in URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notation of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's IT environment. 

4) Validity of cookies: the Site uses session cookies (i.e. cookies that are automatically deleted when the browser is closed), as well as permanent cookies (i.e. cookies that are kept until eventual cancellation by the user), the duration of which does not exceed in any case the six months. 

5) Need for acceptance of cookies: acceptance of cookies is not mandatory but their deactivation, although it allows navigation within the Site, may not make it possible to release some contents and functions of the Site. 

6) Deactivation and deletion of cookies: it is possible to deactivate or delete cookies at any time. To do this, you need to consult the information in the browser's User Manual (Help Page). The cookies (sent from the www.nokike.com domain) contain the following information: a numeric ID that uniquely identifies Nokike and a numeric ID that identifies the user (who navigates within the Site), both stored within our database; a numerical ID that uniquely identifies the navigation (so-called "record") of the user within our database; a pseudo-random session alphanumeric ID automatically deleted by the browser when it is closed (session cookie).
